ROMULUS was used intensively for planned mating and a huge number of his sons was able to meet the requirements for AI-bulls. Also he can be found as damssire quite often. From his sons above all ROM has to be mentioned, who is the father of the top-bull ROMEN. It is remarcable that the bull HAXL can be found three times in the pedigree of ROMEN. The ROMULUS-line brings about cows with excellent conformation and good clear udders, but often not very well framed. The milk performance, beef performance and the milkability are average, the protein content sometimes is negative, the cell count is good. Last but not least this line shows a long service life.
